Climate in Shirdi

Shirdi the holy town, is a place which witnesses heavy influx of tourists in all the 12 months of the year. Devotees are least bothered about the hostile climatic conditions. Summer

The Summer season which starts from the last week of March and continues for the next three months till May is a long and dry spell in Shirdi. Usually the scorching heat coupled with blazing Sun act as a double whammy. So the number of tourists visiting this place in this period is comparatively low. But the bond of trust and belief which Sai devotees share with their god gives them the strength to bear the extreme heat. The range of temperature is 210 c to 450c. Scarcity of water is another issue to deal with during this season.

Monsoons

In Shirdi the month of June marks the arrival of monsoons. The months of July and August witness maximum rainfall. The monsoon season ends in August.These months are good tome for paying a visit to the ashram and sight seeing. The temperature ranges from 300 to 350. Climate is of moderate nature.

Winters

Winter season is believed to be the best season to visit Shirdi. This season experiences maximum arrivals from tourists. The winter season starts in December and continues till February. The range of temperature during this period of year is between 100c to 300c. Sometimes temperature slips below 100c upto 80c. Most of the hotels are booked in advance during this period of time.

Peak season for arrival of tourists starts from October and continues till March. Tourists prefer to wear loose cotton clothes during their stay.
